MARK FORSLUND

Mark Foslund Mark was fortunate to have had the opportunity to begin his 21 year fly fishing career guiding on Utah's Green River. During this 10 year period; Mark learned through experience what is required to meet the daily challenges of producing a genuine and unique fly fishing experience. In 1997 Mark relocated his Utah fly fishing career to the Blue Ribbon rated Provo River. His hard work and attention to the intricate details of the Green River fly fishing world paid off when making the transition over to the finicky trout residing in the Heber Valley.

Mark is always searching for new opportunities for his family of friends and clientele. This professional aspect of his personality led him to the lightly trodden terrain of the Wyoming section of the Green River. This high desert western river rolls through the pristine Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge and is notorious for its monster trout and limited fishing pressure. Mark can regularly be found floating the Upper Green with his long standing clientele during the months of June and October. Part of Mark's desire for adventure has led him and his affiliates all around the globe. He has hosted several ESPN crews on fishing adventures: from the local waters of the Provo River to the Corrientes Province of Argentina chasing golden dorrado. He has chased trout across both North and South American continents and continues to adventure with a newly found saltwater itch that can not seem to be satiated.

Mark founded Heber City's very own Utah fly shop in 2002 under the name Four Seasons Fly Fishers. He has established and maintained the operating mission for the company: based on a higher level of standards and ethical conduct than previously known in the industry. The Four Seasons crew strives daily to ensure that their clientele has the best fly fishing Utah experience possible.

With all of that stated; Mark feels that "My most important personal achievement has been to share the wonders of fly fishing with all of those individuals that I have fished with over the years." He offers a heart felt thanks and appreciation to all of those people that have helped him in fulfilling his dreams as a career fly fisherman.

RYAN BUNNELL

Ryan BunnellMany of you will know Ryan from your interactions in bookings and/or sales in the Shop. Ryan is the right guy to get a hold of when you want to connect with your favorite guide or swing that special deal on a new rod and reel set up. As Four Seasons Fly Fishers General Manager; he knows who to talk to and can get the job done.

Ryan is native to Saint Louis, Missouri; where he learned all about warm freshwater fisheries and unspoiled Ozark waterways. He spent 7 years living in the Gunnison / Crested Butte area of Colorado: where he earned a painting degree in Fine Arts with an unsung emphasis on the pursuit of large trout. Ryan began his professional fishing career in 1998 as a guide and fly shop manager in the Gunnison Watershed Basin: specializing on the Taylor River. Bitter winters inspired visions of tropical flats. Ryan's travel and fishing disorder was fully manifest as he became addicted to Caribbean flats fly roddin' - for any or all of the presiding glamour species to that region. Between 2001 and 2003; Ryan worked for an outdoor retailer in Saint Louis and participated as an instructor in their multiple day fly fishing schools down in the Ozark Mountain Range. Ryan moved to Heber City as a graduate student and has since fallen victim to the allure of the rare and complex Provo River system. Many of the Four Seasons affiliates are grateful to have "hooked" this one up and look foreword to keeping him "on the line" for some time to come.

AUSTIN HAACKE

Austin HaackeFrom stalking 20 lb. carp to throwing tiny dry flies at picky trout: Austin loves fly fishing. He is as much at home on a lake as he is on a river and is commonly referred to as our Utah fly shop's still water expert. Austin is Four Seasons resident fly tying ace. A number of his own patterns are being commercially produced and stocked in fly shops across America. Austin is also Four Season's foremost student of entomological studies (a discipline that compliments his fly tying well). Austin works in the shop in addition to guiding on the river. He has a talent and a flare for the technical and the instructional side of fly fishing. This makes him an all around valuable asset to the Four Seasons team and a good guy to keep an eye out for; either on the water or in the store. Spending a day with Austin will provide an educational fly fishing Utah experience that few can offer in comparison.

CRAIG COSTA

Craig CostaCraig grew up in Northern California and started fly fishing at 8 years old. Having moved to Utah in 1975; he has fished the local waters for 30 years. This includes time spent on the Green, the Provo and any variety of the many trout streams in proximity to Heber City. The dream of actually living on the Provo River finally drew him to Midway: where he now makes his home. His wide ranging experience with salmon, bull trout, Baja roosters, dorado and our local trout streams led him to Four Seasons Fly Fishers: initially as a customer and now as a guide and shop salesman. Craig now wears many hats here at Four Seasons. You may find him leading trips on the challenging and diverse Provo River or rowing a boat down the Upper Green River. Like all of our key employees; Craig can be found on the sales floor of our Utah fly shop when he is not out fishing with our growing family of loyal customers. Craig is an ambassador of good will on the water and a favorite of guides on Four Season's roster. Look for Craig on your next guided fishing adventure with Four Seasons Fly Fishers.

AARON EGGLESTON

Aaron EgglestonAaron is our very own born and bred Heber City local. He has spent his entire life fishing in and around the local waters of the Heber Valley. With this in mind: he has more experience on the Provo River than most of us combined. Aaron is a romantic angler in the true sense of the word. He is the guy that you will catch on the river without a rod... just watching the hatch and relishing in the majesty and wonder that trout fisheries possess. He is usually one of the more "tuned in" guys on the staff for this reason. Aaron is respectfully reserved; but that shouldn't stop you from picking his brain about the fly fishing universe. If he is in the mood to divulge information - you could quite possibly be taken back by the detail and expanse that his angling comprehension entails.

CORY BASTIAN

Cory BastianCory spent his youth moving from place to place and has fished for everything the Eastern United States has to offer. From trout in Pennsylvania to big cats in the south: Cory just loves to fish. At age 20 he picked up a fly rod and has never looked back; spending as much time as he could learning the ropes in Tennessee's Smoky Mountains National Park. Moving from one part of the country to the other has presented Cory with all new learning curves to fishing. Cory has run with this chance and takes every opportunity to learn the waters of the west from anyone who will share their knowledge with him. In exchange Cory loves to share his new wealth of knowledge with his clients. He dedicates everyday to learning whats happening on our local waters. Cory understands what it's like to fish new rivers and makes sure that everyone he fishes with leaves the water wiser and anxious to come back and do it again.

JIM O'NEAL

Jim O'NeilJim is a lifelong flyfisherman: retired from the fishing tackle retail business in Utah. He specializes in fly casting instruction. A veteran casting teacher; Jim helps beginners as well as experienced anglers. He believes, "it's okay if you haven't cast a fly rod before because you are starting out with good fundamentals." Experienced anglers can fine tune their techniques with Jim's instruction. Jim has worked with fly casting legends Lee and Joan Wulff as well as champion caster Steve Rajef. Jim can help you improve your double haul for distance and become more accurate with all of your other casting techniques.

ELLEN SAVKO

Ellen SavkoEllen grew as part of a family in Pennsylvania where fly fishing was [more or less] a pre-requisite. At sixteen years of age she attended Trout Unlimiteds Rivers Conservation and Fly Fishing Youth Camp. Several years later she had joined their staff, sharing her passion for the sport and introducing her to the professional of the instructional and guiding aspects of the fishing world. As a fly fishing enthusiast; Ellen is a member of several organizations such as Trout Unlimited and The Brotherhood of the Junglecock. She moved to Heber City in 2005 to teach Special Education at the local junior high school. She extended her teaching credentials to fly fishing at Four Seasons by working in the shop and guiding during the summer.

JEREMY FISHER

Jeremy FisherJeremy Fisher is native to Northern Michigan; where his formative years as a fisherman led him through that regions many streams, rivers, and lakes in and around the Upper Peninsula. Jeremy started fly fishing around the age of 10: at which point he began to nurture regular relationships with the local salmon, steelhead, and trout of that region. Jeremy was fortunate enough to have Grandparents that lived in South Western Florida. This gave a lifetime excuse to explore the finer points of catching Tarpon, Snook, and Permit on a fly rod. He moved to Park City in 1993 and started guiding fishing trips on the Provo and Green Rivers at that time. Since 1998 he has spent April, May, and June being a Saltwater Guide and Captain out the world famous Islamorada; in the Florida Keys. While there he teams up with big name guides such as Roland Martin [The Bass Master on OLN]. In the summer, fall and winter seasons; you can find Jeremy here at Four Seasons Fly Fishers. Wherever you find him; Jeremy is all about a good time and a tight line for his clients.

JEFF HARWIN

Jeff HarwinJeff grew up in Fort Myers Florida; where he started fishing with his brother and friends on the inshore waters of Fort Myers. He discovered fly fishing at the age of 16 while working as a Camp Counselor in Pennsylvania. After that he put down his spinning tackle and started chasing tarpon and snook on a fly rod. He moved to the Park City area in 2005 to guide fishing trips on any of the great rivers that the area has to offer. Jeff is enthusiastic about the sport and enjoys nothing more than participating in the joy that catching big trout brings to his clients.
